Deixo aqui uma imagem que fiz em 2007, para a apresentação e entrada do descontinuado site "Visões da Gândara", que acabei por "abandonar" em favor deste blog. Trata-se de uma imagem composta por várias fotografias dispostas em camadas (layers), com fotos de:
- Igreja Matriz da Tocha,
- Um barco de pesca pela técnica da "Arte Xávega", da Praia de Mira,
- A aldeia do Bom Sucesso, vista através dos campos agrícolas,
- Um poço gandarez com um "Engenho", antiga máquina de extrair água para irrigação de campos agrícolas, movida através da força de animais (vacas, burros ou cavalos).
- Palheiro da Praia da Tocha,
- Barrinha de Mira,
- Barco na Lagoa de Mira,
- Fêmea de Pato-Real (Anas Platyrhynchos), fotografada na minúscula Lagoa dos Bois.
I present an image I made in 2007, for the presentation and entrance of the original site "Visões da Gândara". This site was abandoned in the early stage, in favour of this blog. This is an image composed of multiple photos, arranged in layers. These photos are of:
- Church of Tocha,
- A boat for sea fishing in Mira Beach, using the traditional and ancient technique of the "Arte Xávega",
- The village of Bom Sucesso, seen from south west, from agricultural fields near the Lagoa da Vela, the biggest natural lake of this region,
- A water well with an "Engenho", an ancient iron machine, used to extract water from the well, using the strength of animals (like cows or donkeys),
- One "Palheiro", the traditional house of Tocha Beach,
- The Barrinha de Mira (a coastal fresh water lagoon in Mira Beach),
- A boat in Lagoa de Mira (another fresh water lake, located half way between the Town of Mira and Mira Beach),
- One mallard female (Anas Platyrhynchos), animal specie who can be seen very often in all the Lagoons (lakes or ponds) of Gândara.
